We are the community that cares and we strive to lead by example everyday. Our goal is to facilitate partnerships between all things local. Bringing together local farms and restaurants, businesses to local charities, and people to the community. We hope to become the most effective and efficient networking hub in Spartanburg by connecting people with local businesses, artists, musicians, and organizations all while working together to better our community. With your support, we will lead Spartanburg into a brighter tomorrow.

Who we are

We’re simply Spartanburg locals who believe our city is stronger when we show up for each other. Operation Grow Spartanburg was started by regular people with a simple goal: support small businesses and keep our community connected through real relationships.

A lively outdoor amusement park with a ferris wheel, a kiddie coaster, a carousel, and other rides. People are walking around, waiting in line, and sitting on benches. There are food stands and trees surrounding the park.

What we do

We offer a membership for local businesses as well as a free community membership and host networking and community events designed to boost local businesses, spark real connections, and keep that “everyone knows everyone” feel alive as our city continues to grow.

Why we do it

We’ve facilitated the donation of over $100,000 in supplies and monetary donations for local charities, organizations, and community members in need. Not to mention the personal and business relationships that have formed as a result of OGS.
